We offer individualized intervention in the following areas: motor skills, speech and communication, sensory issues, playing skills and social interaction, behavioural issues, emotional and psychological impairments, learning difficulties and self-independence deficit.


Educational intervention takes care of the child as a whole, developing basic skills in all the areas of the development.

Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) is the only evidence-based and well-researched comprehensive behavioural early intervention approach for children with autism starting from 12 months. The program encompasses a developmental curriculum that defines the skills to be taught at any given time and a set of teaching procedures used to deliver this content. It is a play-based intervention.

Applied behaviour analysis (ABA) is widely recognized as a safe and effective treatment for autism. ABA principles and techniques can foster basic skills such as looking, listening and imitating, as well as complex skills such as reading, conversing and understanding another person’s perspective.


In addition to ESDM and ABA models, we also propose specific intervention therapies to develop speech, language and non-verbal communication.

Speech and language therapy intervenes on problems with the actual production of sounds such as articulation disorders (difficulties producing sounds in syllables or saying words), fluency disorders (related to the he flow of speech), resonance or voice disorders (problems with the pitch, volume, or quality of the voice), receptive disorders (difficulties understanding) and expressive disorders (difficulty putting words together, limited vocabulary, or inability to use language in a socially appropriate way).

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) helps children with severe speech or language problems to find other ways to communicate. As the term suggests this method can be used as an alternative to speech or to supplement it, as for examples using pictures, words, symbolic systems or technological devices. AAC con be used both to improve comprehension and production.


In case of specific necessities our hospital proposes individual motor therapies in our modern gym or using our well-equipped sensory room including a warm swimming pool.

Motor therapy helps kids to improve fine and gross motor skills working on muscular strength tone and endurance, motor learning and planning, postural control, sensory processing and body awareness, balance and coordination. Sometimes these objectives are easier to reach starting the motor stimulation in the pool.

Sensory intervention therapy helps kids with sensory issues to reduce difficulties in processing, integrating and responding to sensory stimuli by exposing them to sensory stimulation in a structured and repetitive way. This kind of intervention also has a positive effect on behaviour, motor skills, emotional control and social interaction.

Hydrotherapy is the use of water in the treatment of different conditions, including ASD and motor deficits. Hydrotherapy differs from swimming because it involves special exercises that you do in a warm-water pool. Is very effective with toddler with important social interaction deficit and lack of eye contact.
